A Bit Of Information About Farasha

Farasha is a web designer and programmer from the the Baltimore / Washington DC metro area. Her intense desire to change the world for the better led her to a Bachelors degree in Political Science from York college of Pennsylvania in 2005.

After a few years of trying to make it as a public policy analyst, she decided that she might as well do what she was good at: Web design and programming; things she eventually grew to enjoy a great deal. Currently she both works full time for a non-profit (non-evil) and runs her own web-design and consulting business on the side.

Farasha is an expert on all things web. Whether or not one supports the matrix, we must realize we are living inside of the simulacrum as Baudrillard would say. As such, Farasha has decided it is best to know the hyper-real world well, despite preferring to spend her free time in unspoiled nature. With web design, she has found a perfect outlet for her outgoing, friendly personality, her highly cultured sense of aesthetics, and her need for perfection all things.

When she is not designing or coding, Farasha is most likely reading, walking, or contemplating the nature of existence somewhere in a forest or on a mountain. Her other great passions are political theory and philosophy.

Just In Case You Were Wondering

No, I am not related to Bob Ueker. And the last name is pronounced "you-ker", not erkor, which believe it or not I hear quite often.

A. Short answer: Yes. Long Answer: If your project involves programming in a language I am less familiar with, I am willing to learn. I do try to avoid Microsoft products if at all possible. I am an avid free sofware advocate; using only Linux and BSD in my personal sphere of influence.
